The One

I wonder what it must feel like. To have someone look you in the eyes and tell you with all of their heart behind the words that you're the one. I wonder how it feels to be on the other side of those words instead of behind them. To know that they see their entire world whenever they lay eyes you. I wonder what it feels like to be that girl. The one someone wakes up and gets through their days for. The one who occupies their thoughts and takes up the space within their heart. The one who erases any thought if the past because I make their future seem so much brighter than any of their yesterdays. It's true I've been told I was many things to a person.Words like amazing, perfect, unforgettable... the list goes on. But I've never been told I was "the one" and suddenly all those identifiers don't seem to matter. Yeah... I wonder how that feels.
